Well, Torie England’s presentation on the need for a ond to rebuild/repair many of our local school campus’ buildings, repair school recreation facilities, add a few new buildings and improve access to and around our school campuses was stimulating. By the pictures in the presentation, these activities are odue. Be prepared to help get this message out to the community. It is evident this effort to enable the Penn Valley Union Elementary School District to float a bond and begin the work is essential to bringing the school facilities to be safe and inviting so that the recent scholastic success will be matched with an safe, attractive physical plant to draw younger folks with children to the Penn Valley area.
Saturday, 16 March, is the latest date to complete the North Star House’s Heritage Garden. Please keep this date open so you can help plant and spread mulch on that day. Light work will be the labor of the day. Hopefully some of us will be able to perform some of this work. As mentioned by Adam Weiss at our Tuesday meeting, the sign-in is at 8:30am and he expects the work should be done by 3:00pm barring any bad weather before and during that date.
