CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING IN LAKEWILDWOOD...Oh What Fun... Fun, right before the rain...thanks to Melissa Conley for being the champion on this project...we had 7 trucks and trailers, collected well over 200 trees, waiting for the donations however we collected $250 that day...and got done before 11 am...thanks again team!! New Year party and Football mania....Lisa Fox will be hosting our new year's party and Football mania on January 21 at her home in Lake Wildwood...please put this on your calendar and plan to attend...more details at the meeting on Tuesday... DAFFODIL RUN...SUNDAY, APRIL 7 THE 24TH DAFFODIL RUN WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY, APRIL 7...WE NEED MANY MANY HANDS AND LOTS OF SPONSORS AND RUNNERS!! Runner sign ups open on January 1 via the Daffodil Run website... If you can sponsor the run or know someone who might be able to sponsor, send a note to Lindy B and she'll send them a form or send the form to you for mailing...all sponsors must be in by March 15 to be included on the Daffodil Run t-shirt... more to come.. Around the Area... The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is designed to expand Rotary knowledge and leadership skills for Rotarians interested in developing their Rotary participation and potential in club leadership. The program teaches skills that will benefit members in their personal/business lives and in their volunteer service. Rotary Leadership Institute I session is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2024. It will run from 8:30 AM to approximately 3 PM and be held in the 2nd Floor Conference Room at 11641 Blocker Drive in Auburn 95603. Rotary members from Area Four (Nevada City, Grass Valley & Penn Valley) are invited to join Area Five (Auburn) in an engaging day of training and dialogue about Rotary fundamentals and personal leadership.
