The visit to the Thrive Student store was very enlightening...it's a great way to encourage students to engage and helps those who are food insecure without the stigma...thanks to Christi Savoy and Lindy for volunteering on Mondays to set up the store...thanks to Joyce for volunteering to do shopping for staple items...we will be using some of the Holiday Market gift cards to help the Thrive Student store
 
 
Make sure and pay your dues...You should have received a statement with info on your current standing...Also, if you have not make a donation to the Rotary International Foundation, bring a check to the meeting and we'll get it off to them...
 
INFO FOR THE NEW YEAR...
We will be going back to the 1st and 3rd Tuesday meeting schedule (like during President Joyce's year) ...starting in January...same place, same time only the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays...with a quarterly social or field trip...

Lunch meeting on December 6...we will enjoy hearing from the Sierra Gold Parks Foundation president Jesse Locks and Sam Bell, Park Interpretive Specialist at Empire Mine.  Sierra Gold Parks Foundation includes parks in our area: Empire Mines, South Yuba River and Malakoff Diggins.
